Tom was part of the US Army and was in the NATO force responsible for repatriating London after Great Britain was originally decimated by the Rage Virus.
Biography[]
Following the Original Outbreak of the Rage Virus, Tom was assigned to join the US-led NATO force under Brigadier General Stone's command that went to Britain to repopulate London.
28 Days Later (comic series)[]
Tom was apparently one of the soldiers who guarded the citizens of District 1. When Clint Harris asks Tom over a cigarette about the rumours that someone has snuck out of the green zone, Tom tells him that they are false, and to keep them to himself.
It is unknown what happened to Tom when the Second Outbreak of Infection occurred in District 1.
Personality[]
Tom was able to make friends with others such as Clint Harris, but was also stern and serious about stopping secrets from getting out. Despite his friendly demeanor towards his friends, Tom could also be cold and callous; as he believed that survivors the patrols in London found should have been left alone to continue fending for themselves, rather than taken into the green zone.
