Sid was the son of Roger and Barbara, and the brother of Sophie and Liam.
Biography[]
28 Days Later: The Aftermath[]
During the first days of the Original Outbreak of the Rage Virus, on Barbara's birthday, Sid and his family had a picnic at Cherry Hinton Hall in Cambridge to celebrate. Sid was reluctant to take part in the celebration, but Roger forced him to for Barbara, before forgetting about the two's argument.
Moments later, Liam was attacked by a chimpanzee infected with the Rage Virus, causing Sid and Roger to attack and beat the chimp to death. Paramedics then took the infected Liam in their ambulance to send him to a hospital in London, and Sid and his family followed in their sportscar until the infected Liam and paramedics broke out into the streets.
Sid and his family subsequently spent the next few days in hiding as the Infection began to spread out of control across England, before deciding to attempt to escape the country. The family then travelled to King's Cross Station only to find it overrun by the Infected, and then to London it find it abandoned and overrun. The Infected then began to attack and pursue the family, forcing Sid and Sophie to jump into the Thames and escape by boat, while Roger and Barbara stayed behind to stop the Infected following them.
At some point afterwards, Sid and Sophie came to a military quarantine camp in the countryside and were taken into the camp. Thirty-eight - forty-two days into the Rage epidemic, Sid met new arrival Hugh Baker at the camp, who convinced Sid that they, Sophie and Clive had to escape. The group subsequently tried to escape by posing as camp personnel, but they were discovered and pursued by the military. Sid and Hugh stayed behind to hold the military off while Clive and Sophie escaped, and were gunned down and killed.
Personality[]
Sid was initially a wisecracking and rude young man, but developed a more protective mature demeanor after most of his family was infected and/or killed by the Rage Virus.
