Biography[]

Rourke was part of a CIA squad of Marines led by Captain Stiles, which went to quarantined Great Britain in search of Selena.

28 Days Later (comic series)[]

Two months after the Original Outbreak of the Rage Virus in Britain, Rourke and the squad searched Scotland for Selena, and found the car which Stiles theorised she and her group had used.

Stiles ordered Rourke to burn and disable the car, but when Rourke informed him that he did not have a lighter to destroy the car with, Stiles disabled it himself. Rourke and the rest of the squad then left via helicopter. It would appear that Stiles deserted Rourke and the rest of the squad at some later point in his hunt for Selena; Rourke's fate is unknown.
