Paris is the capital and largest city in France, situated on the river Seine, in northern France, at the heart of the Île-de-France region.

During the Original Outbreak of the Rage Virus in Great Britain, the day before broadcasts in Britain ceased, there were reports of Infection in Paris. (28 Days Later (film)) However, these reports were presumably false, and were most likely spawned from paranoia.
Seven - eight months after the outbreak, two days after District One was destroyed, (28 Days Later (comic series)) the Rage Virus appeared in a strangely empty Paris and the city was overrun by the Infected. (28 Weeks Later, 28 Days Later (comic series)) One more thing is unknown that from where did The Infected enter & after the Outbreak, what happened to Paris.
According to Alex Garland in a 2025 reddit AMA, Paris was destroyed by a nuclear bomb, which stopped the Infection spreading to mainland Europe.
