Major Lavine was an officer in the US Army, and part of Operation Rising Dawn, the US-led NATO force sent to repatriate London.

Biography[]

Following the Original Outbreak of the Rage Virus in Great Britain, Lavine was assigned to join the US-led NATO force under Brigadier General Stone's command that went to London to repatriate the city.

28 Weeks Later[]

When the Second Outbreak of Infection started in District One, Lavine watched from the control bunker as District One was destroyed by the Infection and firebombing after the Code Red was initiated by Brigadier General Stone. The fate of Lavine and his colleagues is not shown on screen, but it is strongly implied that their command bunker, located outside of District One, is overrun with infected before they are able to escape.

  • Lavine is credited only as "Bunker Major", his name is only ever given by his military uniform's nametape.
