Imogen Poots (born June 3,1989) is an English actress best known for playing Tammy Harris in the 2007 film 28 Weeks Later.
Background[]
Poots was born in London, England to Trevor (a TV producer) and Fiona Poots. She attended Queen's Gate School for Girls and London's Latymer Upper School, where she attained 3 A grades at A-Level. She plans to attend university. She is a member of the YoungBlood Theatre Company and model for Select Model Management.
Career[]
Her first movie credit was as Young Valerie in the 2005 film V for Vendetta. She has also appeared in a 2004 episode of Casualty, in Matt Day's short film Wish and in the 2007 TV movie Miss Austen Regrets.
She appears in the forthcoming films Waking Madison (an American production co-starring Sarah Roemer as Madison) and Cracks, directed by Jordan Scott from the novel by Sheila Kohler. The latter tells the story of relations between an exotic teacher (played by Eva Green) and the diving team at a boarding school.
