"Dog" was the nickname of a US Army soldier in command of a small military squad.
Biography[]
Following the Original Outbreak of the Rage Virus, Dog and his squad travelled to Great Britain, presumably to either patrol England, or as part of the United States-led NATO force of soldiers under Brigadier General Stone's command sent to repatriate London.
28 Days Later (comic series)[]
Approximately twenty-seven - twenty-eight weeks after the Original Outbreak, after Dog heard that Sergeant Luis Rodriguez and his squad had found an American man and an African-British woman, Dog found the entire squad murdered and pointed the finger of blame to the two survivors Rodriguez's squad had found: Selena and Clint Harris.
The next morning, Dog and his squad found Clint Harris unconscious on a dock, and Dog violently interrogated him on Selena's whereabouts. Clint explained to Dog that Selena had been taken hostage by Captain Stiles, who was taking her to Manchester. After discussing this with Brad, Dog decided to travel with Clint to Manchester to find Selena and Stiles.
Dog, Clint and the squad searched the burnt ruins of the city of Manchester for Stiles and Selena, but failed to find them; causing Dog to warn Clint that if they did not find Stiles or Selena, he would assume that Clint was lying and have him killed.
Dog, Clint and the squad eventually found Selena at the Worsley House to northeast of Manchester. Dog decided from what they found at the house that he could verify Clint's story, and took the two to District One in London. It is unknown whether or not Dog was present in District One during the Second Outbreak of Infection, or, if he was, what his fate is.
