Deptford is a district of south London, England, on the south bank of the River Thames.

Jim's parents and Mr. Bridges and his daughter lived in Deptford before the Original Outbreak of the Rage Virus. When the Rage Virus broke out, Jim's parents committed suicide, and Mr. Bridges and his daughter were infected.
28 Days Later (film)[]
Twenty-nine days into the outbreak, Jim, Mark and Selena travelled to Deptford to find Jim's parents at his house. The trio spent the night at the house, but Jim accidentally drew the infected Bridges and daughter to the house. Mark and Selena killed the two Infected, and Selena then killed Mark upon learning he was infected; and she and Jim then fled.
