Bellew was an officer in the US Army, and part of the US-led NATO force sent to repatriate London.
Biography[]
Following the Original Outbreak of the Rage Virus in Great Britain, Bellew was assigned to join the US-led NATO force under Brigadier General Stone's command that went to London to repatriate the city.
28 Weeks Later[]
Bellew was present when Chediak and Scarlet Levy argued over the latter's fears that they weren't taking strict enough safety precautions. It is unknown what happened to Bellew when the Second Outbreak of the Rage Virus occurred in District One, but he was most likely moved to the control bunker with Stone and other officers.
Trivia[]
- Bellew is credited as "Senior Medical Officer". His name is only ever given by his military uniform's name badge.
- His last name is probably a reference to 28 Weeks Later co-producer, Bernard Bellew.
- He is a lieutenant colonel (O-5), according to the rank patch on his uniform.
- He has the patch of the U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) on his uniform's sleeve.
