Al was a soldier, and part of an American black operation to weaponise the Rage Virus.
Biography[]
Some months after the Original Outbreak of the Rage Virus in Great Britain, Al travelled to infected Scotland as part of a black operation to try and weaponise the Infection.
28 Days Later (comic series)[]
While searching the countryside near the personnel's camp for Infected to bring back to the camp for testing, Al was able to capture several Infected. He later captured Selena, Clint Harris, Douglas and Derrick while the four were fleeing from a forest fire, and brought them back to the camp.
Later, when the camp prepared to evacuate due to the approaching forest fire, Al came to inform Dr. Billingsworth when they were ready to leave. Selena then arrived and, as revenge on Dr. Billingsworth for infecting Douglas as an experiment, splashed Douglas's blood in Al and Billingsworth's eyes, infecting them both. As the Infection began to overwhelm Al, he refused to allow Selena to have the satisfaction of killing him. He then takes out a pistol and shoots himself.
